My name is Carlene K, I started my own business at the age of 17 and have been working as a professional Makeup Artist in OC and LA for over 9 years. My passion for makeup began at a young age, it was my way of expressing an art and a passion I had for creativity. After High School, I decided to fine tune my art and spent a short time studying at Empire Makeup Academy. I have been BLESSED to make my passion my career and have had the opportunity to travel the world and work with some of the most amazing people.

My most recent jobs include Department head of makeup for the hit show "The Search for the Next DOLL" with the Pussycat Dolls which was an unforgettable experience and Department head of makeup for the "Secret Saturday Morning Slumber Party" with the Slumber party girls. You may have seen me on Search for the Next Doll, Blowout and even House of Carters....and there's more to come!

Being a Makeup Artist has given me the gift that I treasure more than anything and that is making people feel beautiful. I believe that everyone is beautiful, not everyone sees their beauty or believes that they are, my job allows me to prove them wrong and unveil what they did not see in themselves. Words cannot express the reward I get when I've done my job and I see the expression on a woman's face when she realizes how beautiful she really is. It is a gift that keeps on giving because I have the opportunity to make women feel more confident and beautiful on the outside which intern makes them feel more beautiful on the inside.
